The Showdown is probably my crown jewel in terms of what I've been able to accomplish both in terms of code and design.
When I first started, the corporate sponsor was Colgate and they asked me to not only give the current design an overhaul, but to also come up with some ideas to help generate more traffic. Drawing from my background as a musician, I suggested that a Profile Page be built which would give every contestant the ability to create the equivalent to an electronic press kit that would include their bio, a picture, an mp3 file as well as their touring schedule. The result was very positive and the Profile Page has proven to be one of the biggest sources of the online traffic for countryshowdown.com.
